Joana Machado
“Velocity” is a sound manifesto freed from stylistic corsets that uncomplicatedly embraces the general public.
Joana Machado interprets and signs the compositions and arrangements of the songs, betting on a collection of themes recorded in Blame it on my Youth (Warner, 2014), Lifestories (2016, ed. Author) and more recent ones.
Here, jazz is the perfect playground to gather musical influences, from soul to pop, through electronic music.
In a trio, Joana Machado, Óscar Graça and Joel Silva want to report the permanent urgency in which we live.
In the case of a gradual recovery, the Casa da Música it chose not to allow the choice of place, in order to guarantee that the rules of social distance are fulfilled.
The public will be directed to the respective places, with a space for two chairs between people, even if cohabiting.
On the other hand, in Educational Service events, there will be a spacing of two chairs, however, two people are allowed to stay together, as long as they belong to the same household.
