Due to the current situation caused by Covid-19, and following the recommendations of the DGS, Ana Carolina's concerts in Portugal will be postponed to September 2020. Thus, the tour begins on the 22nd with a concert at the Convento de São Francisco, in Coimbra . On the 25th, the artist takes the stage at the Pavilhão Multiusos de Guimarães, and the next day she heads to Porto to perform at the Super Bock Arena. On September 27, it is the singer's turn to toast Lisbon with a show in Campo Pequeno, closing the dates in Portugal with a flourish. Tickets are now available.
“I'm really sorry that I can't be on my 'Fogueira em Alto Mar' tour to Portugal right now. I always made a point of performing in the country, since I love the public and the affection with which they always receive me. I'm sure the fans understand the current situation and that they will be with me on these new dates. I'm really looking forward to returning to Portugal! ”, Says Ana Carolina.
People who have already purchased their tickets, the same are valid for new dates. For those who have not purchased tickets, they are already on sale at the usual places.
The “Fogueira em Alto Mar” tour, directed by Guilherme Leme. The show follows the release of the homonymous album, the first with unpublished songs after a six-year hiatus. Ana Carolina, explains that the “alignment has the six songs recently released from the first EP. And, of course, the biggest successes of my 20 years of career are not left out! ”.
One of the surprises of the musical script signed by Marcus Preto is the precise choice of the repertoire. “We think that to celebrate my 20-year career, it was also necessary to bring songs of mine that I never performed live. I believe that the fans will like it, since we have more intimate samba blocks, ballads and sets ”, adds Ana. And she adds:“ I can also say that I present my reinterpretations for well-known songs by renowned artists that I admire ”.
“Fogueira em Alto Mar” brings the mix of samba and pop, with the participation of a band formed by Thiago Anthony (keyboard, programming, guitar and tambourine), Theo Silva (guitar, guitars and tambourine), Marcos Maia (bass, guitars and tambourine) and Leo Reis (drums, electronic pad, tambourine and guitars).
Designed as a great visual experience, the tour features scenography by Camila Schimidt, videos by Roger Velloso and lighting by Anna Turra. The content, which includes animated graphics and projection of colors synchronized to the songs, is projected on a stage mouth formed by a metallized cyclorama, adjustable blind panels with light sets behind and a reflective metallized floor. The idea is that the space can oscillate from pop to intimate bringing various moods through the combination of light design and videography.
In harmony with the concept of the show, the costume designed by João Pimenta brings Ana Carolina in tailor made tailoring with embroidered silver elements and crystals that dialogue with the power of light and the scenery.
