The play, which marks the start of the new season of TNSJ spaces, is brought to the public through the dramaturgy and staging of Ricardo Alves, in the first "adventure" of the Teatro da Palmilha Dentada in classic texts.
This Bourgeois Fidalgo is presented as “from” and not “from” Molière, issuing the advance notice that the public will watch an adaptation of the “extravagant and colorful comedy-ballet” written in 1670 in collaboration with the composer Lully, mixing dances and songs.
Portrait of “the ambitions that devour everything and the new rich who buy everything”, The Bourgeois Fidalgo continues to talk about us, our cities and our ugliness.
Taking it to the public a comedy of costumes dressed as a musical or vice versa, the show presents itself without fears or constraints, except for those that the Covid-19 pandemic has brought, which are also the subject of reflection on stage.
The play will be on stage on Wednesday and Saturday at 19 pm; on Thursday and Friday, at 00 pm; and on Sunday at 21 pm.
The recital of August 16 will have simultaneous translation into Portuguese Sign Language, as well as a conversation at the end of the show.
The ticket price is 10 euros.
