The Salsa store on Rua de Santa Catarina, in Porto, is testing equipment for disinfection of clothes that allows sterilization in 30 seconds
In a statement, the fashion brand from the Sonae universe, informed that the equipment is already in the final testing phase, specifying that the system allows to help “optimize the customer's purchase process, manage stocks more efficiently and, above all reinforce safety and comfort in the store experience ”.
With the use of this equipment, Salsa promises sterile clothing in thirty seconds, speeding up the disinfection time required by store security measures. The rules imposed by the DGS indicate that items of clothing returned, exchanged or that are tried on in the fitting rooms need to be 48 hours without any contact.
The equipment, such as the name of PHYS UVC STERILIZER, was designed and developed by a Famalicão company, MTEX New Solution SAWith the support from the Biotechnology Department of Universidade Católica Portuguesa and CITEVE.
“Our customers feel comfortable inside the store and are more likely to experiment. The feedback has been very positive. They know that they are completely safe; it is as if every time the pieces are tried for the first time. It is a privilege to be able to be part of this process and, in this way, test solutions that we can adopt in other stores in the future ”, says Carla Santos, Store Manager of the store, in the note released by Salsa.
PHYS UVC STERILIZAR is a system that combines ultraviolet C light with ozone, thus using the most effective processes to combat Covid-19.
Already in the final testing phase, this system allows optimize the customer's purchase process, manage stocks more efficiently, and, above all, reinforce safety and comfort in the store experience.
