Porto without Buses? STCP workers go on strike

STCP warns of the possibility of service disruptions between 00:00 on June 30 and 02:00 on July 1

No minimum services have been established

The membership is 100% according to the unions, who say that there are no buses running in greater Porto.

No worker attended the service on the morning and morning shifts: Jorge Costa of the National Union of Drivers says he expects this adhesion to continue during today, Tuesday.

In a statement sent to the press, STCP informs that the service disruptions will take place “this Tuesday, June 30, from 0:00 am to 2:00 am on July 1, as a result of a strike notice submitted by several union organizations. ”

Additionally, they state that “No minimum services have been established by the Arbitral Tribunal, either for the operation of buses or for the operation of electric cars, so the company cannot guarantee the fulfillment of the service on any of the 73 lines of the STCP network ”.
