Comply with the rules, maintaining tradition

With a privileged view over the city of Porto and the Douro River, São João in The Yeatman it has become a tradition throughout its 10 years of existence.

After recent reopening and although without the usual festivities, but with the usual charm, the wine hotel celebrates this year at the table, with two menus specially prepared by Chef Ricardo Costa to mark the date.

Complying with all rules and recommendations, the The Yeatman opens the doors of its two restaurants and generous terraces, with different menus, but which share the same desire: to honor the typical flavors of the night that celebrates the city's patron saint.

The tempting proposals

No Gastronomic Restaurant, awarded with two Michelin stars, the menu proposed by Chef Ricardo Costa reflects his vision: the flavors of tradition worked with mastery and creativity.

An intention unveiled in the first dish, Tomato & Sardine “Nitro”, from a menu that serves Portugal and the Atlantic coast at table, from Cod with xerém, coriander and egg, to Raia with cauliflower, couscous and pita sauce , which ends with the Leitão dish, a real ex-libris of the cuisine of the natural chef of Aveiro.

Among the desserts, you can find another chapter of the Portuguese recipe: Eggs Moles & Chocolate Tripa, a typical sweet from the beaches of Costa Nova.

The menu, available from 19:30 pm, is accompanied by a selection of wines also specially designed for the celebration, included in the amount of € 250,00 per person.

No Orangerie Restaurant, the homage to traditional flavors is maintained, with some of the dishes on the first menu, including Sardines & Tomato “Nitro” and the dish of Raia, to which the Portuguese Canned Food is added, in which the Chef recovers this century-old technique from fishing coast, to sample different fish and bivalves.

Next up is Gamba Violeta, with fried rice, gamba and Bloody Mary and Lamb of Milk, with avocado, chili and tandoori sauce.

Dessert immerses you in the freshness of the season's flavors: Cherry, Coconut and Basil.

Dinner will start at 20 pm and the menu is also accompanied by a selection of wines, with a value of € 00 per person and € 160,00 for children aged 80,00 to 5 years.

Children up to 4 years old are invited.
