While the borders are not open, the Mexican restaurant in Matosinhos invites you on a journey through the aromas and flavors of its gastronomy

A "cool”By Sicario is making itself felt again this week, with the reopening of the restaurant that invites you to explore the authentic flavors of Mexican food, accompanied by the signature cocktails of the house, in a vibrant, colorful and, above all, safe environment.

On this phased return, the restaurant will be open only for dinners, from Wednesdays to Saturdays (between 19:30 pm and 23:00 pm), and on Sunday lunches (from 12 pm to 00 pm), with all safety and hygiene measures issued by the Directorate-General for Health, in order to provide safety and comfort to all customers and employees.

With the motto “Al times tiempo, good Tsar”, A Mexican expression that invites you to see the good side of life even in the most challenging moments, Sicario returns to serving good spirits and good energy, with its colorful and flavorful dishes, coming from the various regions of the country, and the most complete collection of tequila and mezcal, which invites you to enjoy the various cocktails of the house. Every Thursday it will be possible to enjoy the discount “two cocktails for one”, in a Happy Hour from 19h to 21h and that promises to liven up the summer nights ahead.

This trip to Mexico has as its first destination the famous Snacks, entries composed of Rooster's beak (2,5 €), Refried Frijoles (€ 2,5) and Totopos (1,5 €), or the comforting Chilpachole de Camarón (6,9 €), a seafood soup with the exotic touch of peppers. Then, it is possible to travel from the streets of Mexico City to the houses de las abuelas, with suggestions that point out the coordinates for all parts of the country: from Taco Al Pastor (7,9 €), made with pork slowly cooked on a spit, spices and pineapple, Pavo a la Yucateca (€ 14,9), with maya grilled turkey.

It is not possible to finish this gastronomic route without trying the house sweets, where the Pastel de Tres Leches (4,5 €), a soft cake of evaporated milk, condensed milk, homemade meringue topping and filling with pieces of fresh strawberries.

At Sicario, cocktails also have a Mexican accent and are an invitation to extend this trip through Mexico until later. The restaurant features three new signature creations: Guerita (€ 6,5), with Silver & Reposado Tequila, lime juice, mango and pineapple, chilli and egg white; The Mezcalite (€ 6,5), a tasty mix of smoked mezcal and tequila with cointreau, lime juice, ginger root and a border of black Himalayan salt; it's the Passion Fruit Margarita (€ 6,5), a twist on the favorite classic with reposado tequila, lime juice, triple-sec and passion fruit.

Since May 20, Sicario, in addition to the à la carte options takeaway and home delivery, it offers special packs for 2, 4 or 6 people, which show the best of Mexico at the table, in the security of the Portuguese homes, for 12 € per person.

Home deliveries and takeaway they are made from Wednesdays to Fridays, from 18 pm to 00 pm, Saturdays from 22:00 pm to 12 pm and Sundays from 30:22 pm to 00:12 pm.
