From May 20, the Mexican restaurant in Matosinhos promises to bring more “salero” to the confinement period, with new takeaway menus, designed for sharing between 2, 4 or 6 people. Doors officially open on June 3.
"Al mal tiempo, buena cara ”. The Mexican expression that invites you to see the good side of life even in the most challenging moments, serves as a motto for the return of Sicario and the authentic flavors of Mexican food, in a takeaway regime and home delivery, from May 20nd.
The restaurant prepared special menus to travel through the gastronomy traditions that are considered UNESCO Heritage sites, without leaving your home. And the boarding pass has a new destination every week, to showcase the flavors of each region of the country.
In addition to the à la carte options of the takeaway menu and home delivery, the Hitman created special packs for 2, 4 or 6 people, which show the best of Mexico at the table, for 12 € per person.
In an invitation to share, the packs include the famous Snacks, entries composed of Rooster's beak, Refried Frijoles e Totoposas well as the traditional Guacamole.
The food of Grandma, directly from the homes of Mexican grandmothers, is the main dish of this offer.
There are several options to choose from, the number of which varies depending on the pack, ranging from Pollo Morita, chicken breast with smoked Peanut Sauce Chile Morita, to the classic Taco Pastor, with pork cooked on a spit and topping with spices and pineapple, passing through the Special Dish of the Week, which points out the coordinates for recipes for the various Mexican regions. As an accompaniment, the pack includes Calabaza a la mexicana, the original pumpkin recipe from the house, Mexican rice, the indispensable Tortillas and Papas al Horno (which is like saying, baked potato), exclusive to the menu for 6 people.
The experience could not be complete without one of the stars of the house: the Pastel de Tres Leches, a strawberry cake that promises to sweeten confinement times.
As of June 3, the Hitman officially opens its doors to the public with enhanced hygiene and safety measures, according to the recommendations of the General Health Directorate, only for dinners, from Wednesdays to Saturdays (between 19:30 pm and 23:00 pm), and on Sunday lunches (from 12:00 pm at 18 pm). For that date, more news is reserved and a lot of “cool”, In good Mexican style.
Until the 3rd of June, the restaurant will be open for home deliveries and takeaway from Wednesdays to Fridays, from 18:00 pm to 22:00 pm, Saturdays from 12:30 pm to 22:00 pm and Sundays from 12:30 pm to 17:30 pm.
