The resumption of services is expected to be gradual.

On May 18, the public service was reopened to the public between 9 am and 00 pm and between 12:00 pm and 13:30 pm, on working days. But you can only enter one person at a time and the use of a mask is mandatory.

The reinforcement of the telephone answering capacity will continue through the 800 20 26 39 line.

The collection service, upon request, of bulky objects, electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) and garden waste, which was suspended during the duration of the Contingency Plan, was also reactivated.

On June 1, the return to the door-to-door collection model is foreseen, on the days foreseen in the 2020 waste collection calendar, in the flows: undifferentiated, paper / cardboard, packaging, glass and organics.

In public cleaning, the reinforcement of container cleaning services in the public space will be maintained, namely, paper bins, ecopoints and semi-buried containers and disinfection of public spaces and urban furniture. The manual scanning services will return to the model prior to the Contingency Plan.

Depending on the evolution of the situation and the recommendations of the Directorate-General for Health, the Plan may undergo adjustments.
