450 exhibitors, largest international participation ever
Over four days, 450 national and international exhibitors look for new business opportunities and show their most recent bets, where innovation is a privileged aspect to succeed in an increasingly competitive market.
Beyond the heavy industry, companies in the new economy, linked to technology, are increasingly the engine of this development, helping to pull in traditional industries, which enthusiastically embrace the need to modernize. «At the forefront of solutions and technologies of the future» is the motto of this year's edition, which fills all pavilions in the Exponor enclosure.
This edition of EMAF has the largest international participation ever, thus confirming the growing importance of the event in addressing new trends in the industrial world. For the 35 thousand square meters sold, it will be possible to find international presence from several countries, with special emphasis on Spain, which continues to be a preferred commercial partner for Portuguese companies.
Great expectation, also, for the presence of a Business Mission from the Federation of Industries of the State of Pernambuco, with about 30 buyers looking for Portuguese technology.
At the same time, EMAF also wants to be a forum for studying the state of the art in the industry. One of these initiatives, which takes place at the Business Center, will be the «Maintenance Days», where professionals from maintenance, industry and academia share their experiences and discuss the future of the sector in Portugal and in the world.
This year, the seminars focus on topics of great interest and topicality for the industrial area, with presentations on new technologies, application of methodologies, trends, concerns, new challenges and training. The program includes other seminars and forums to discuss the main challenges in the sector.
In the last edition, 430 national and foreign companies participated, reaching 42.800 visitors. The fair also included 2500 buyers from 24 countries, especially from Spain, France, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy. Czech Republic, Hungary, Turkey, Angola, South Africa, China, United States of America and Brazil.
The fair, which has its doors open only to professionals, operates from 10 am to 00 pm during the four days.
