Cuca Roseta and Camané, two big names from two generations of Portuguese fado, will be together in Matosinhos for a free concert that is one of the highlights of the programming of the Capital of Culture of the Atlantic Axis 2016 and the festivities of Senhor de Matosinhos.
The show is scheduled to begin at 22 pm on Friday, May 20, in the gardens of the Municipal Library Florbela Espanca, and promises, at the very least, to remain in everyone's memory. A concert of mandatory meaning, therefore, in which one will hear some of the best fado that is currently sung in Portugal. The next day, also at 22 pm, a concert is scheduled with Mundo Secreto, a band from Leça da Palmeira that achieved national success thanks to themes such as “We arrived at the party”, “Take my world” or “Put your hand in air".
Once the emotions of the days dedicated to Senhor de Matosinhos, the fireworks and the Literature in Travel festival are over, the city will once again experience another weekend full of animation and culture. In addition to the concert that will bring together Camané and Cuca Roseta, Matosinhos will also host the Rally of Portugal, the play “Arte”, with João Lagarto, Vítor Norte and Adriano Luz, and the opening of the exhibitions by José Emídio and André Letria.
